I spent the afternoon with mom and dad yesterday. I don't think that woman has had a happy day in her whole life. So sad. I hope I don't become that bitter and negative in my old age. Actually, I hope I don't live long enough to get that old and sick. Someone please run me over with a bus before that happens! Promise me!?

In the meantime, I also went over to the Dayton Bridal Connection's open house yesterday. What a great idea - an all in one stop to plan your wedding! My friend Nita and I are considering renting a space there to promote my bridal and wedding party jewelry, and she has lots of cute ideas for handcrafted gifts and accessories for the bride and wedding party. I think this may be the opening for a new path I've been praying for. Guess we'll wait and see. In the meantime, I'm working on some wedding jewelry this afternoon, and I'm still hoping someone will book a February or March home party.
