Brides

I got married on a beach in California with just my sister and her two boys as our witnesses. It was spur of the moment, quiet and beautiful. Since I am participating in the Dayton Bridal Expo, I've been flipping through bride magazines and websites looking for trends and jewelry inspirations. I can't believe how many beautiful wedding dresses there are! I'm glad, and a bit sad, that I never had to choose one because I would want to wear them all, they are so lovely! I also can't believe how much they charge for things! I have found bridal jewelry that is nothing but a few Swarovski crystals and some fake pearls for hundrens of dollars! And you just know they were made by some 8 year old kids in India working for $2 a day! I'm guessing the wedding industry companies aren't asking for any bailouts with those kinds of profits!

So if you are a Dayton area bride, I hope you will consider asking me to make yours and/or your wedding party's jewelry, and I promise I won't charge you hundreds of dollars, and I also promise that I don't have any child laborers hidden in my basement! :)
